ATI completed a Time Critical Removal Action (TCRA) at two former Army National Guard (ANG) MMRP sites, including surface and subsurface removals. The project included the development of CERCLA documents from Proposed Plans (PP) to Remedial Designs (RD) for both the former Craig and Delta Ranges Munition Response Sites (MRS). ATI collected and analyzed geophysical data to identify possible anomaly density. and assessed project field costs to reduce potential risks from additional, unknown anomalies.

ATI managed schedule risk through effective collaboration with the project delivery team (PDT) and the use of Technical Project Planning (TPP) to gain acceptance of project objectives. Planning documentation included the development of TCRA Work Plans, Uniform Federal Policy (UFP)-QAPPs, Action Memoranda, and ESSs.
Field tasks included surface clearance; vegetation clearance; digital geophysical mapping (DGM); magnetometer scanning and intrusive excavations; grid development; material potentially presenting an explosive hazard (MPPEH) and MEC identification and munitions destruction; and management of material documented as safe (MDAS). PPs, decision documents (DD), and RDs were developed and completed for both the Craig and Delta Ranges, including a total of nine MRSs. In addition, community interest and Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) assessments were completed, along with a Munitions Response Site Prioritization Protocol (MRSPP) for each MRS.

The work included interaction and collaboration with USACE, Omaha District, ARNG, and Colorado ANG; and regulatory agencies including the Colorado Department of Environment and Health and EPA Region 8, the Bureau of Land Management, and local and community agencies and property owners.
