Overview of the project

Since 2011, ATI has provided firearms range, target, and associated systems operation and maintenance (O&M) services at various US Secret Service firing ranges in the NCR, including the clean-up, storage, and disposal of lead hazardous waste (approx. 200,000 lbs./year). These facilities include multiple indoor and outdoor firing ranges at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD; the Clinton Federal Building in Washington, DC; and at Fort Meade, MD. ATI also provided general maintenance of range equipment and systems (target, ventilation, bullet trap, sound proofing, and lighting) located in lead contaminated areas and addressed emergency service calls and repairs for all range facilities.

Result / Impact

ATI maintained a fully operational facility throughout the entire year, regardless of challenging weather conditions. As an indication of the client’s satisfaction with our work, the Secret Service awarded a follow-on five-year contract commencing October 2023 with ATI as primary subcontractor on the new contract.
