Overview of the project

ATI staffs approximately 30 on-site positions at the Department of Homeland Security Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), in Cheltenham, MD. Since 2017, ATI staff has performed a full range of preventive maintenance (PM) and repair tasks over the entire Center. ATI also performs cleaning and maintenance of the site’s indoor firing ranges; This includes the inventory and maintenance of training equipment. ATI provides safety and environmental compliance; waste and stormwater management; warehousing and mail delivery; custodial; grounds/landscaping; and snow removal services at the site. The range of ATI’s services includes providing janitorial services; cleaning and maintaining seven indoor firing ranges; issuing and receipt of firearms, ammunition and related training supplies and equipment; and cleaning, repair and maintenance of training equipment.

Result / Impact

ATI, with DGI as a significant subcontractor, was the incumbent Cheltenham FOSS contractor for five years prior to the current DGI-ATI contract. Current DGI-ATI staff were awarded certificates and patches by the Cheltenham Site Director in recognition of their exceptional performance.
