This project entailed mechanical system replacement and installation of two 90-ton Trane Air-Cooled Chillers for the U.S. Army Special Operations Command Building at Fort Bragg, NC. Additionally, new exhaust fans were installed in the mechanical rooms within the building and CMS controls were provide and programmed for the correct functionality of the chillers to ensure seamless switch-over from one new chiller to another as load demands require. Project was completed ahead of schedule.
Result / Impact
ATI was tasked with providing comfortable, safe, and well-maintained facilities for occupants, users, and visitors to the USASOC. To meet this goal, ATI closely coordinated with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and the Government’s Facilities Manager to efficiently provide maintenance services while minimizing disruptions to operations within the facilities

Kishan Amarasekera, PE
Kishan Amarasekera is the President of ATI, a position he has held since 2004. During his tenure, the company has grown from a 4-person architectural design firm to a 100+ person multi-disciplinary company with diverse capabilities. Kishan is an environmental engineer with over 25 years of experience.
Kristen Daly, P.G.
Kristen Daly leads the ATI Environmental Services Division and is a licensed Professional Geologist. She has over 20 years of experience in environmental due diligence, assessment, and remediation for a range of clients including Federal agencies, private developers, and lenders. Projects include Federal properties such as military installations and national park land, and residential, mixed use, commercial and industrial.
Gary Mayer
Gary Mayer leads ATI’s Business Development Group. He has over 40 years’ experience in Business Development and Program Management in environmental compliance and remediation, construction and system safety engineering services. Gary leads ATI’s proposal teams as a capture manager on federal, state and commercial opportunities.

Joyce Hix has over 30 years of comprehensive industrial hygiene program management and field experience with Federal, State and commercial contracts. Contracts include the Department of State Overseas Building Operations; DOE, DOI, Department of Treasury, National Archives, Towson University, and Prince George’s County Public Schools. Joyce has performed: hundreds of asbestos surveys, condition assessments, IAQ investigations and training seminars on the potential environmental hazards of their buildings.

Denny Brown
Denny Brown heads the Energy and Program Management group at ATI. He is a mechanical engineer with over 35 years of experience in primarily in quality assurance, safety and health, and environmental services. He is a former senior DoE official and has broad experience with DoE, DoE/NNSA (most of the National Laboratories), DoD, dozens of nuclear power plants and manufacturing facilities.
