Overview of the project
ATI, in joint venture with DGI, is providing comprehensive technical support to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Norfolk District for the Southern Expansion of Arlington National Cemetery—a major $400 million construction effort slated for completion in 2027.

Services include construction surveillance, scheduling, cost estimating, and specialized expertise across geotechnical, civil, architectural, structural, fire protection, mechanical, and electrical disciplines. USACE awarded the contract based on DGI-ATI’s qualifications in response to a Sources Sought Notice.
Result / Impact
This project will not only extend the lifespan of Arlington National Cemetery, but also fully integrate the Air Force Memorial with the cemetery, enhance the visitor experience, and facilitate cemetery maintenance operations.
